My name is Mindy Lynn, and Lydia Lynn is my twin sister. Ever since I can remember, she has loved playing malicious pranks on me. Sometimes, she would hide my homework notebook deep inside the wardrobe, watching me break into a sweat as I searched frantically for it. Other times, she would secretly add chili powder to my water cup, waiting to see me choke when I drank it. Whenever I was teased and went to complain to our parents, they would always say, "Lydia is just playing with you," then turn around and accuse me of being "too sensitive, unable to take even a joke from your sister." But no matter how many tricks she played, I was always better than her. In school, my grades consistently ranked first in the entire grade; the walls were covered with my award certificates, while she lingered in the lower middle tier, her test papers marked with countless red crosses. After graduating and searching for a job, relying on my status as the top scorer in the college entrance exam, I smoothly joined the City First Hospital as a surgeon, where my parents work. Yet, she barely managed to enter the Laboratory Department doing menial tasks, relying on countless connections our parents pulled strings for and several acquaintances she asked for help.
